FAQ

Need more information before making a choice? See the most frequently asked questions below.

What is the difference between the Vantage Vue and the Vantage Pro2?

While the Davis Vantage Vue and Vantage Pro2 are two totally different weather stations, they share many of the same sensors, just in different, or, in the case of the Vantage Vue, non-replaceable configurations. However, the Vantage Pro2 has a larger open area within the radiation shielding protecting your temperature and humidity sensors.

In theory, this should lessen errors on sunny and especially hot days, since there is more space for air to move. If youโ€™re really concerned about accuracy, we strongly recommend either theย fan-aspirated Pro2ย orย Pro2 Plus.

I cannot use wireless devices in my home. Is a wired version of the Davis Vantage Pro2 available?

1 review for Davis Vantage Pro2 Integrated Sensor Suite (6322)

  1. J. Boyd

I recently was reminded how much I depend on the Vantage Pro2 every day. I was changing batteries after fifteen months, and I inadvertently changed the ISS setting. So for a half-hour I was reading the manual (could be better!) and figuring out my problem. During that time I thought about how much I and several of my neighbors depend on the station here in the generally hot Phoenix region.

I’ve had the Davis for six years, with only one problem. The anemometer failed during warranty. That’s the only issue over six years and still going strong. I am using the original console that, while it shows its age, works fine for my purposes.

The station is accurate and reliable. Bottom line – I’d recommend it to a neighbor, friend, or family member.
