If fan aspiration is not required, the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus with UV and Solar Sensors and WeatherLink Console offers plenty of functionality. A research-grade, professional weather station, the Vantage Pro2 Plus updates every 2.5 seconds, and the integrated sensor suite can transmit up to 1000′ (300 meters) to your console.

In addition to the aforementioned UV and solar radiation sensors, the Vantage Pro2 Plus also measures:

outside temperature and humidity sensors housed in a passive radiation shield
wind speed and direction
rainfall

The package includes the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus Integrated Sensor Suite, two sensors (UV and solar radiation), a sensor mounting shelf, and the WeatherLink Console. It is further expandable thanks to a wide variety of Davis sensors.
