Description

The Davis Omni Antenna for Long Range Repeater is intended for use with the Long-Range Repeater to extend range up to 1,560′ in all directions. Each repeater requires two antennas. You can combine omni and Yagi antennas to collect data from all directions and transmit in a single direction, or vice versa. Includes mounting hardware.

Similar to your console or ISS, the Omni Antenna radiates in a 360ยฐ pattern. However, with 5 dBi of gain, the range is extended by nearly 60%, providing significant flexibility in sensor placement. The Davis Omni Antenna for Long Range Repeater is best used centrally among a group of remote sensors (see diagram in images).

The Omni Antenna is compatible with all Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue Integrated sensor suites and consoles, Weather Envoy, and standard repeaters.

FCC regulations require that U.S. customers select either the Davis Omni Antenna (#7656) or the Yagi Antenna (#7660) to use with their Long Range Repeater; customers outside the U.S. must purchase third-party antennas in compliance with local regulations. To ensure compliance with worldwide communications regulations, antennas can only be shipped to US addresses.
