Davis Wireless Weather Envoy (Requires WeatherLink Software) (6316)

Use the Davis Wireless Weather Envoy to receive data from a wireless Vantage Vue or Vantage Pro2 integrated sensor suite, Temperature/Humidity, or Leaf Wetness & Soil Moisture/Temperature stations, and post it to your computer without a console! When used along with a WeatherLink data logger and software package, Weather Envoy will collect and store data from the outdoor sensors.

The Weather Envoy is ideal for field installations where a receiving station does not require a console, but needs a location close by to record data received from sensors. The data logger does not need to be continuously connected to a computer as long as the Envoy stays powered. See the descriptions for the data logger for more information on available storage capacity. The wireless version of the Envoy also includes an RJ port for a Davis temperature probe if desired.

Includes an AC power adapter, with 3 AA batteries required for battery backup. The Envoy can be mounted outdoors as long as it is within a weather-proof shelter. Range is approximately 1000′, which can be extended by using either the Wireless Repeater or the Wireless Long-Range Repeater.

Note: The Davis Wireless Weather Envoy is compatible with Vantage Pro2 only. It is not compatible with the original Vantage Pro (pre-2006).
