Maximum Marconi Weather Station (Digital)

Description

The Maximum Marconi Weather Station provides all the basic weather conditions — temperature, barometric pressure, wind, and rainfall– and combines them with time and East Coast tide data.  Includes the Merlin, Mystic ,Rainwatch, and Cronus.

Wi-Fi versions ship with all the interfaces necessary to connect your station to your network for data sharing.

Mystic

The Maximum Mystic is an integral part of any weather station.

The Mystic reports both outdoor temperature (user selectable between Fahrenheit and Celsius) and barometric pressure, with additional modes to report high and low temperature as well as rate of change. When combined with the Merlin, the Mystic can also report wind chill temperature. The Maximum Mystic also features 10 years of data backup to ensure your data never gets lost.

Merlin

The Maximum Merlin anemometer not only measures current, average, and peak wind speeds but also forecasts future wind speeds based on observed data.

Digital readings are given in four modes: ‘Present’ displays existing wind conditions; ‘Peak’ provides speed and direction of the highest gust since the last reset; ‘Average’ reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset; and ‘Forecast’ compares the most recent 12-minute average wind speed with the average for the previous 12 minutes.

When combined with the Mystic, the Merlin gives the Mystic the capability to report wind chill temperature.

RainWatch

The Maximum Rainwatch is a digital rain gauge with two separate memory functions for both short and long-term rainfall tracking, which you can use as you wish.

Rainwatch displays rainfall in user-selectable units of measure, including inches (in), centimeters (cm), and millimeters (mm). Your data is protected by a 10-year backup to preserve it during power outages. Maximum has built its rain collector to be self-emptying, and it meets NWS specifications for size and accuracy. You can also opt to use the Maximum Rainwatch with many other tipping-bucket style collectors.

Cronus

Track any East Coast tide digitally and the time, no matter where you are, with the Maximum Cronus Tide Clock. This instrument uses the average time between lunar high tides across the Atlantic Ocean (12 hours and 25 minutes) and estimates the time to the next tide.

The time is displayed in either 12- or 24-hour mode and automatically adjusts for daylight savings, with the date shown in month/day format. 12 LEDs count down to East Coast high or low tide in 1/2-hour increments. The Maximum Cronus is AC powered, with battery backup to maintain time and date during power outages.
