The Davis Wireless Long-Range Repeater with Solar Power is intended for those who wish to send weather data much farther than 1,000′ (300 meters). The Wireless Long-Range Repeater can extend the range up to 1.2 miles.ย It can not be used alone: Davis Wireless Long-Range Repeater with Solar Power requires two antennas for transmission and reception (Typically one omnidirectional antenna (7656), range 1,560′ (476 m) in all directions, and one Yagi directional antenna (7660), range 5,000′ (1.5 km) in one direction).
The Long Range Repeater performs well in expansive setups across large areas, such as farms, large properties, and commercial work zones. It also does not require significant solar charging to remain operational: the charging system is capable of performing continuously even under low light conditions. Includes solar panel, regulator circuit, and rechargeable battery.
Compatible only with Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue. Not compatible with the original Vantage Pro (produced before 2006).
