When accuracy is important, the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus with 24-Hr Fan Aspiration, UV and Solar Sensors, and WeatherLink Console is the research-grade weather station of choice.

The Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus includes a solar- and battery-powered, motor-driven fan that draws a constant airflow through the sensor chamber. At night, when the effects of radiation are less, the fan runs on the battery. This provides more accurate temperature readings than passive shielding alone. This package includes the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus Integrated Sensor Suite with 24-Hr Fan Aspiration, two sensors (UV and solar radiation), a sensor mounting shelf, and WeatherLink Console.
