Due to unpredictable shipping costs resulting from higher gas prices, the cost to sell some Climalytic products to you has exceeded the retail price. Additionally, we’ve also had to make several changes to our shipping policy to reflect drastically increased shipping costs.
Given that most of these products qualify for free shipping elsewhere, passing additional cost to you is not an option. As a result, we’ve decided to limit the availability of all Climalytic products to stock on hand. Until further notice, only the following items are available for purchase (quantity available is listed):
- Climalytic Snow Board (1)
- Climalytic Snow Ruler (3)
All other Climalytic products have been removed from availability. We are currently seeking a resolution that allows us to continue to offer Climalytic products to our customers, and we will share any details we can.
Should we be unable to come to a resolution, after our current inventory is exhausted, Climalytic products may be unavailable for an extended period of time. We do not currently have a timeline for when the full Climalytic line will return. It is highly dependent on more stable shipping costs and, unfortunately, a higher retail price.
We want to warn our customers that any resolution likely requires a substantial increase in the price of most items in the Climalytic line through Cirrusly Weather if shipping and manufacturing costs don’t stop increasing.
As we’ve said before, we’re trying to hold the line on prices as long as possible, but we can’t absorb such high costs anymore — it’s not a sustainable business model.
We want to stress that this isn’t the end of our Climalytic partnership either: Climalytic is also facing the same cost questions, with no positive solutions for manufacturers, resellers, or consumers. Although unclear, we’re determined on our end to find a path forward that works for everyone. But what is clear is that we can no longer shoulder the increased costs alone.
Current Customers are Still Covered
If you purchased a Climalytic product from us, don’t worry, our relationship with Climalytic has not changed. This is a decision based on economic factors out of both our and Climalytic’s control.
If you need support for your Climalytic product, reach out to us. We still have you covered and will for the lifetime of the product. It’s part of our core business model.
Shipping Policy Changes
Effective immediately, our flat-rate shipping options are no longer available; orders must exceed $100 to qualify for free shipping post-discount. Orders are charged at the market rate. While this is a significant increase in the free shipping requirement over our previous policy, it is a direct result of shipping costs nearly doubling since we opened our doors in May 2025, increased acquisition costs, and the recent addition of new fuel surcharges by carriers, in some cases nearing 30%.
The biggest increases in final shipping cost will come for irregularly shaped items such as the Climalytic Snow Board and some Maximum Instrument packages; however, our analysis shows that most items will see modest shipping cost increases (however, this is subject to change at ANY time due to current market conditions).
This change applies to BOTH International and US shipments. We hope to return to our previous policy in the future, even though our new policy remains the most competitive shipping policy of any weather station retailer. We do NOT mark up shipping costs, and you will receive our discounted contract rate where available.
We thank our customers for supporting us over the past year in a very challenging business climate. We hope you stick with us through this as well, as this is not something we want to do, but must.
