Description
For longer distances or to improve reception in challenging areas, consider adding the Davis Wireless Repeater with Solar Power. The transmitting and receiving range for each repeater is up to 1000′ (300 meters) outdoors, line of sight; the typical range through walls under most conditions is 200′ to 400′ (60 to 120 meters). Includes solar panel, regulator circuit, and rechargeable battery.
Use up to eight repeaters with a single wireless station, or form a network of weather stations by linking eight repeaters to eight different wireless stations. Multiple sensors can connect to a single wireless repeater (see images for examples).
The Davis Wireless Repeater is compatible with the Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue weather stations. It is not compatible with the original Vantage Pro (produced before 2006).
