Description
While a pole mount is sufficient for many applications, a solution like the Davis Mounting Tripod may prove useful where additional stability is required. Made of galvanized steel, using optional lag bolts will provide sufficient stability without the need for guy wires for ground-based installations. Adding additional extension poles to your mount will require guy wires to prevent sway.
While the Davis Mounting Tripod is intended for the Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue integrated sensor suites, it is a convenient mounting solution for other Davis products, including Sensor Transmitters, EnviroMonitor Cellular Gateways, and EnviroMonitor Nodes. It is compatible with any station accepting a 1 1/4″ mast, including most Ambient Weather stations, the Tempest Weather System, and others.
Includes two 3′ (.92 m) long poles, which may be used separately or together to make a single 5.8′ (1.77 m) long pole.
