Maximum Rainwatch Digital Rain Collector

Maximum’s line of digital instruments combines its trademark old-world charm and superior accuracy with modern technology. The Maximum Rainwatch is a digital rain gauge with two separate memory functions for both short and long-term rainfall tracking, which you can use as you wish.

Rainwatch displays rainfall in user-selectable units of measure, including inches (in), centimeters (cm), and millimeters (mm). Your data is protected by a 10-year backup to ensure it is preserved during power outages. Maximum has built its rain collector to be self-emptying, and it meets NWS specifications for size and accuracy. You can also use the Maximum Rainwatch with many other tipping-bucket-style collectors.

If you would like to connect your Rainwatch to the internet to share data, select the Wi-Fi option.

Important: If this is your first Wi-Fi instrument, select Yes, but I need the setup kit. If you are purchasing multiple instruments, choose this option for the first instrument, and Yes, I have purchased the setup kit for all others purchased. This ensures you don’t receive extra instrument interface kits. There is no additional charge for adding Wi-Fi; only the initial setup kit ($650) is charged.

(Note: when purchasing your first Wi-Fi Maximum instrument from us, buy the version above without Wi-Fi and the setup kit. If you purchase the Wi-Fi version, you will have an extra sensor interface box as the setup kit includes that component. You will not be able to use the Wi-Fi capabilities without the instrument interface box.)
