While the Maximum Newport Weather Station is best suited for East Coast locations, any nautical enthusiast will find the combination of the Maestro, Harbormaster, and Predictor perfect for their weather watching needs.
Wi-Fi versions ship with all the interfaces necessary to connect your station to your network for data sharing.
Maestro
Two options are available: the standard model, which offers wind speeds from 0-100 mph and 0-160 km/h, and a “scale doubler” version that features a standard 0-40 mph range, with a second scale with a range of 0-120 mph for use during windy conditions.
Wind direction is displayed via eight red LEDs. The rooftop wind speed sensor measures the wind speed, while the included AC adapter powers the direction LEDs. The Maximum Maestro’s unique Gust Register allows you to monitor precisely how hard the wind blew, even if you are not present when it occurs.
Harbormaster
Track any East Coast tide, no matter where you are, with the Maximum Harbormaster Tide Clock. This instrument uses the average time between lunar high tides across the Atlantic Ocean (12 hours and 25 minutes) and estimates the time to the next tide.
Predictor
The Maximum Predictor Barometer is a meteorological-grade barometer at an affordable price for any home weather enthusiast. Measurements are taken over a three-inch scale of mercury (28.5-31.5″), the Predictor is accurate to ±0.16″, far better than any digital home weather station. A resettable pointer lets you track changes in barometric pressure.
The precision German movement of the barometer is housed behind a cutaway dial, which shows the traditional barometer nomenclature, “Rain,” Change,” and “Fair.” For high-altitude installs, the Maximum Predictor barometer can be adjusted to any elevation up to 6500′.
