FAQ
Who is the Davis Vantage Vue with WeatherLink Console best for?
We recommend the Davis Vantage Vue for a wide variety of applications. Itโs popular among weather watchers and gardeners. However, those requiring a higher degree of accuracy may be better served by the Davis Vantage Pro2.
Does the Davis Vantage Vue require batteries?
The Integrated Sensor Suite operates primarily on solar power. A CR123 battery provides backup power as necessary, and in typical installations, it should last 2-3 years. We do not recommend the Vantage Vue in locations that receive less than 6 hours of sunlight per day during winter.
Do I need the WeatherLink Console?
The Davis Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite is compatible with the Davis Weather Envoy or WeatherLink Live.
