About the Davis Solar-Powered Wireless Sensor Transmitter (6332)
With the Vantage Pro2, the Davis Solar-Powered Wireless Sensor Transmitter allows you to mount the anemometer in a different location than the integrated sensor suite (up to 1,000′ (300 meters) from your wireless console/receiver). Combine with the WeatherLink Live to take full advantage of the transmitter’s capabilities, or a Vantage Connect.
You can use this kit with any Davis sensors, including solar radiation, UV, temperature, anemometer, rain, and any third-party sensors that report in a range of 0-3 volts.
For longer distances, add one or more wireless repeaters. For an even longer range, consider the Long Range Wireless Repeater.
Includes:
- Weather-resistant shelter for the transmitter
- Solar panel
- Battery
- Mounting hardware
The wireless repeater is not compatible with the original Vantage Pro (produced before 2006).
