About the Davis AirLink Air Quality Monitor (7210)
Those suffering from respiratory issues are at much higher risk of complications from poor air quality. The Davis AirLink Air Quality Monitor is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, wherever air quality issues present the most significant effects on your health.ย Notable is the AirLink’s capability to measure PM1, PM2.5, and PM10; most AQI monitors only measure the latter.
Used with the WeatherLink app, the air quality meter gives you information both as data and as a color-coded graph that is easy to understand.
With the same precision that made its home weather stations famous, the Davis AirLink Air Quality Monitor is a great addition to any home. With Wi-Fi connectivity, you can use the Davis AirLink withย orย without a Davis weather station or WeatherLink interface.
Features:
- Provides measurements to the WeatherLink app or WeatherLink Cloud once per minute
- Measures particulates as small as 0.3 micrometers with an accuracy of +/-10 micrograms per cubic meter in concentrations

- Global Air Quality Indices, including the US, Canada, Mexico, China, the EU, the UK, Australia, India, and South Korea.
- 6.6-foot AC cable provided, 25-foot optional AC cable available
FAQ
What does PM mean? What does the number mean?
PM stands for particulate matter. The number refers to the size.
Emissions from combustion of gasoline, oil, diesel fuel or wood produce much of the PM2.5 pollution found in outdoor air, as well as a significant proportion of PM10. PM10 also includes dust from construction sites, landfills and agriculture, wildfires and brush/waste burning, industrial sources, wind-blown dust from open lands, pollen and fragments of bacteria.
PM1 is even smaller, and while study is limited, it is theorized that these ultrafine partcles may pose an even greater risk to health since they can pass deeper into the bloodstream.
Why are my measurements different from what I see on air quality monitoring sites?
Your AirLink shows AQI levels by PM type separately. Many sites use a different formula for AQI, which may include other pollutants that the AirLink doesn’t measure, like ozone.
Do I need the WeatherLink Console to use the AirLink?
No, however, you can view your AirLink data on the console in a similar format to how it appears on WeatherLink.com.
