The snow stake also conveniently anchors the snow board to the ground. The included snow scraper can be used to clear snow off the board or to assist in making snow core samples. If you intend to take snow cores and calculate snow water equivalent, we recommend also having a TROPO gauge, or a TROPO outer tube and a Climalytic Digital Scale.
