What is Cirrusly.VIP?
Cirrusly.VIP is our free member program for Cirrusly Weather customers. It gives eligible members access to benefits such as points, early sale access, member-only offers, and select member pricing.
Cirrusly.VIP is not a paid subscription, nor a requirement to shop with us. There is no annual fee or renewal, and creating an account with us does not require a purchase.
We may, from time to time, change this agreement, and you will be free to accept or decline the new terms. Should you decline the new terms, your membership would end with the effective date of the revised policy. Cirrusly Weather also retains the right to end this program at any time.
Benefits
The following benefits are provided to all members:
- Redeemable points (200 points = $10 off)
- 100-point “Welcome Bonus”
- 1 point per dollar spent (some exclusions may apply)
- Early sale access (up to 24 hours)
- Select member pricing
“Verified” members may be eligible for these additional benefits:
- Extended return window (at least 45 days)
- Exclusive VIP-only sales
- Full access to VIP member pricing
These benefits may change at any time and are valid from the date you register. Due to our reseller agreements, we cannot apply benefits retroactively.
Base VIP and Verified VIP
Our VIP program offers two levels: Base VIP and Verified VIP. New customers can opt for either level, both of which are free. A customer may become a Verified VIP by placing an order with Cirrusly Weather automatically or by completing verification if they’d like to access additional benefits.
Verification only requires providing a valid mailing address, which you can add in My Account. Our system will automatically check for the presence of the required information: if you remove it, you will lose Verified VIP access and be downgraded to Base VIP status.
Once you are verified, you do not need to do anything to retain those benefits, and you will not be downgraded to the base level for any reason other than removal of information required for Verified VIP access. While benefits for verified VIP members may change, you do not lose your benefits once you earn them, or fall back to the base level due to inactivity.
If you decide to close your account, you will need to reregister to participate, and any VIP points are forfeited. You must redeem any existing points before account closure.
Please note that you will not be eligible for the welcome bonus if you reregister.
Verified VIP Benefits
Verified VIP status may be required for benefits such as:
- Certain member prices
- Double points during select sales
- Extended return windows, including during our holiday period (Black Friday Week through December 20th)
- Higher-value member-only offers
- Private or limited-availability promotions
- Offers subject to manufacturer display requirements
If a benefit requires Verified VIP status, we will make that clear where practical and permitted by our agreements with our partners.
Why Verification Is Required
Some manufacturer programs limit how special pricing can be displayed publicly and require us to restrict pricing to those with whom we have a “relationship” beyond simple account creation (which automatically awards base level). When those rules apply, we may need to confirm that a customer is an eligible member before showing certain prices or offers.
Verification is not intended to make shopping harder or collect more information than necessary, but because you are providing additional data that requires your consent to collect, we’re establishing that relationship manufacturers require to offer VIP members promotional pricing.
For Verified VIP status, we generally require the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Shipping address
This is the same information that you provide when purchasing a product. No payment information is required to open an account.
Registering After A Purchase Is Made
If you have previously purchased with us, but checked out as a guest, registering for an account does not automatically award you the benefits of Verified VIP. In this case, we must manually migrate your account to verified status to comply with manufacturer policies. Email customer support with your order number(s), and we’ll take care of the rest.
These accounts are eligible for the welcome bonus, which will also be applied at that time.
Member Pricing
Member pricing is available only on select products and may change at any time based on inventory, availability, manufacturer requirements, promotional rules, and other business factors.
Not every product is eligible for member pricing. Some products, brands, categories, or offers may be excluded. Currently eligible products may become ineligible at any time, and member pricing shown for a product applies only during the current shopping session and may not be available later.
Some manufacturers restrict how member pricing can be displayed. To comply with these requirements, we may be unable to honor expired member pricing, including screenshots or previously viewed offers.
Member pricing is not automatically applied to every product, and joining Cirrusly.VIP does not guarantee that a specific item will have a member price.
For this policy, a “session” generally means a single visit to cirruslyweather.com and may end after inactivity, when you leave the site, or when your browser is closed.
Points and Rewards
Cirrusly.VIP members may earn points on eligible purchases and redeem points on future eligible orders.
Points, rewards, and redemption rules may vary by product, promotion, account status, or manufacturer requirement. Some products may be excluded from earning or redeeming points where required by law, manufacturer requirements, promotion rules, or other eligibility limits.
Points may be used for paying up to 20% of the total cart value. Points cannot be applied to taxes, third-party offers or products, Cirrusly Weather services, or shipping costs. Points do not expire once earned, unless you close your account or the program ends, whichever comes first.
Please note that orders placed as a guest will not show up in your points history if you later register for an account. You will need to email customer support to have your previous order(s) points added to your account.
Extended Return Windows
Guests and Base members are subject to our standard return policy. Verified VIP members have up to 45 days to return an item, 15 days more. During holiday sales, VIP members will have up to an additional 30 days to return items beyond the standard holiday return window.
Please note that this extended window does not change the requirements for a valid return under our policy. They must still be in new, resellable condition for a full refund.
Exclusive Sale Benefits
VIP members of any level gain exclusive early access to sale prices, at least 24 hours before the public. Additionally, verified VIP members will get access to unadvertised member-only sale prices, which occur outside of typical sales.
While these benefits do provide early access to deals and stock before the general public, Cirrusly Weather does not guarantee a set amount of stock for members, unless the product is exclusive to or manufactured by Cirrusly Weather.
Availability and Changes
Cirrusly may update, pause, remove, or limit any Cirrusly.VIP benefit, member price, promotion, eligibility requirement, or verification requirement at any time.
We may also limit quantities, exclude certain products, or decline to apply a benefit where required by manufacturer rules, suspected abuse, resale activity, technical error, or other business reasons.
Cirrusly.VIP benefits are intended for customers and may not be used for resale purchases, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for such activity. Accounts engaging in resale activities will be permanently suspended, and the incident will be reported to the affected manufacturer.
Exclusions
Some benefits are available to Base VIP members immediately. Other benefits require Verified VIP status before they can be shown or used. Some manufacturers may require their products to be excluded from certain benefits or may limit how benefits are displayed.
Generally, the following products and services are excluded:
- Weather Station Mounts
- Installation services
- Third-party services, such as Davis WeatherLink
- Tempest products, though our TWSESAVES10 discount code is available to all customers
- Any sale product discounted more than the Cirrusly.VIP member price
Discount benefits cannot be stacked with preexisting sales unless specified in the sale terms.
