Notice of Scheduled Downtime

We want to inform our customers of a planned intermittent downtime currently scheduled for the overnight hours of Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5. We are currently expecting a total downtime of up to an hour, but no more than 90 minutes across those two days.

10/2 Update: We now expect total downtime to be between 30 and 60 minutes.

We will be upgrading our security measures and addressing reported usability issues from customers and visitors.

We want to stress that this is not a result of any security vulnerability that has been discovered, but a proactive measure. As the site grows, we are seeing an increase in hacking attempts. We are taking this slower moment ahead of the holiday shopping season to review our security and ensure that best practices are being followed to keep your data safe, as well as add additional security functionality.

We’ve also recieved some bug reports, which will also be addressed as part of our upgrades.

During this time, customers may experience intermittent issues accessing the site to place orders or check the status of existing orders. We kindly request that customers place their orders during the day or before midnight ET on Friday, October 3, and Saturday, October 4, to avoid potential errors in the checkout process.

Before any site work begins, a notice will be posted on the site alerting users to the potential downtime. These changes should not affect the contents of your cart, but we do not recommend checking out overnight on Saturday or Sunday, and we recommend completing the checkout during daytime hours.

All work will occur between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. ET.

While the site will remain available, there may be errors or periods when the site is non-responsive while we’re working on the server itself. If you need to check on the status of a shipped order during this period, please use the carrier’s tracking page. The information we have may be delayed due to ongoing work.

All work for the weekend will be completed by 7:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, October 5. Customers can continue to use the site normally after this time.

Due to our work scheduled for this weekend, customer support inquiries may not receive a response on the same day. Rest assured that we will respond to all emails in the order that they were received, and we appreciate your patience during this time.

Additionally, no order processing will occur on Saturday, October 4. All orders placed during this time will process beginning late Sunday, October 5.
