Free WeatherLink for a Year Terms and Conditions
The “Free WeatherLink for a Year” Promotion (“offer” or “promotion”) is valid from September 1-30, 2025 (“the promotional period”). Limit one offer redemption per US-based customer. A qualifying purchase is required to participate and redeem. Participation is optional and not required for purchase of participating products. The customer may elect to not participate in the promotion during by taking no action during the promotional period to redeem this offer. Customers declining to participate are still subject to Cirrusly Weather’s standard terms and conditions.
By agreeing to participate in this offer, you are also agreeing to abide by the following terms and conditions, including in the event of a dispute.
Applicability of these Terms and Conditions
This offer was created by and is redeemable only through Cirrusly Weather, and should not be viewed as an endorsement by Davis Instruments or its parent company AEM. AEM and Davis Instruments have no official involvement in this promotion. The terms listed are valid only for Cirrusly Weather customers: purchases from any other reseller are not valid and will not be honored, nor will this offer be honored by any other Davis reseller including Davis Instruments.
This offer is not available to Cirrusly Weather customers residing in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US territories or internationally. Residents of some states may be subject to sales tax by their respective jurisdiction: this rebate covers the subscription fee only.
This offer is non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-returnable. Customers who return a weather station after redeeming this offer will be subject to a fee equal to the reimbursement amount, which will be deducted from the final refund amount. There are no exceptions.
Promotion Details
Cirrusly Weather will reimburse the customer via PayPal up to a maximum of $47.40 USD for WeatherLink Pro service ($3.95 per month) following verification of appropriate proof of purchase.
The amount of reimbursement for the purchase of a complete Vantage Vue station will be up to $27.30 USD, equivalent to six months of Pro service. For all Vantage Pro2 stations, the amount of reimbursement will be up to $47.40 USD, equivalent to one year of service.
This offer is valid for the standard Pro subscription. Should the customer opt for Pro+, the customer is responsible for any additional fees incurred. The customer is also responsible for any taxes.
Should Davis Instruments run a separate promotion that offers WeatherLink Pro service at a cheaper monthly rate during the promotional period, the amount of reimbursement will be adjusted downward. Similarly, if the monthly rate increases during the period, Cirrusly Weather will adjust the amount of reimbursement as necessary to cover the additional cost to the customer.
If this occurs, notification of such a change will be posted in an update to the terms and conditions of this promotion.
Paper Check Option
While the default option for reimbursement is PayPal, customers without PayPal accounts may request reimbursement in the form of a paper check. Reimbursements via paper check incur a $1 fee, which is deducted from the reimbursement amount. Receipt of a check may take up to 2-4 weeks.
Eligibility and Requirements
Customers opting to participate in the promotion are eligible for the following:
- Up to one (1) year of WeatherLink Pro service, reimbursed by Cirrusly Weather.
In order to be eligible, a customer must purchase any of the following Davis SKUs from the Cirrusly Weather website, or through authorized channels such as Facebook and Instagram, during the promotional period above in a qualifying purchase:
A ‘qualifying purchase’ is defined as any order including one of the aforementioned SKUs, in an order placed by an individual for personal use within the promotional period. No other Davis SKUs are eligible, unless they are purchased in an order that includes one of the aforementioned eligible SKUs.
Only one station is eligible for the promotion per customer, regardless of the number of stations ordered. Purchases made before or after the promotion period are not eligible, nor are orders made on behalf of or by a commercial entity or organization.
To be eligible for full reimbursement, the customer must supply sufficient proof of purchase clearly showing that an amount equal or greater than the reimbursement amount the customer is entitled to under these terms and conditions was paid for WeatherLink service. In lieu of amount paid, sufficient information must be present so that Cirrusly Weather can determine such an amount was paid for service by the customer to Davis Instruments in order to be valid. Cirrusly Weather will only reimburse up to the maximum amount in these terms and conditions with sufficient proof: insufficient proof may result in reduced reimbursement or rejection.
This offer is open to both new and existing subscribers of the WeatherLink service, however renewing early may change the customer’s WeatherLink subscription renewal date. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand how early renewal may affect their existing WeatherLink subscription.
Redemption Instructions
To redeem this offer, the customer must take the following steps to be eligible for reimbursement. Failure to do so may result in delays or rejection of a redemption request.
- The customer must register for or renew the WeatherLink Pro service within thirty (30) days of the date of delivery, or no later than October 30, 2025, whichever comes first.
- The customer must save a copy of the receipt generated from the purchase, showing the amount paid, the date of the transaction, and the customer’s contact information, at a minimum.
- The customer must email he**@*************er.com with the subject “WeatherLink Promo”, and attach a copy of the proof of purchase, along with a PayPal email if it is different from the email the customer is emailing from. If a paper check is requested, a mailing address is also required. Remember, a $1 fee applies for all paper check requests.
Within seven (7) days, Cirrusly Weather will review the proof of purchase and send reimbursement via the customer’s selected method.
Most PayPal reimbursements should arrive immediately after processing, although the speed at which a customer receives reimbursement or it becomes available in their account is governed by PayPal’s terms and conditions.
Limitation of Liability
By participating in this offer, the customer understands that Cirrusly Weather makes no guarantees as to the quality and availability of WeatherLink service, and can not be held liable for damages as a result actions taken by using the service. WeatherLink is a service wholly owned and operated by Davis Instruments. The customer uses the WeatherLink service at their own risk.
Important Policies
Management of this promotion is governed by the following policies.
Right of Dispute
Cirrusly Weather reserves the right to dispute the validity of or reject supplied proof of purchase outright for good cause, including but not limited to suspected fraud, unclear or obfuscated personal information that is otherwise necessary to determine the validity of a document, failure to cooperate during verification, or failure to respond to any such requests.
The customer retains the right to dispute any adverse decision; however, additional evidence of proof of purchase may be required for any appeal. The customer agrees that disputes will be adjudicated in accordance with the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, whose regulations may differ from their home jurisdiction.
Right of Termination
Cirrusly Weather reserves the right to end this promotion at any time and for any reason with or without notification. Should this offer be terminated prior to the end of the promotional period, any qualifying purchases made before termination will be honored as long as the customer is not in violation of the promotion terms.
Right of Cancellation
The customer retains the right to cancel WeatherLink service at any time, including before the end of the first year. In that case, it is the customer’s responsibility to seek refunds for unused time from Davis Instruments. Cirrusly Weather cannot guarantee that any refund will be provided, nor can it request such a refund on the customer’s behalf.
To prevent further charges past the period reimbursed by Cirrusly Weather, the customer must cancel their WeatherLink subscription before the renewal date provided within the customer’s WeatherLink account details.
Participation in Future Promotions
Participation in this promotion does not affect a customer’s eligibility to participate in future promotions, unless the future promotion offers the same or materially similar benefits (i.e., discounted or free WeatherLink service). In that case, the customer is limited to no more than one (1) redemption per 12-month period.
Disputes
Any disputes regarding this policy are handled in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
