About the Build Your Own Vantage Vue Bundle
Exclusive to Cirrusly Weather, our Build Your Own Davis Vantage Vue Bundle allows you to create a customized package tailored to your specific needs, offering the same discounts as our prepackaged bundles. First, select a Vue model, then choose the components you need, and save on buying separately. Have your eyes on more than just a weather station in our catalog? You can add that to your bundle, too!
Special bundle pricing will appear once you add additional components. Station-only packages are at the regular price.
Available options may vary based on destination country.ย The options you can select for the Vantage Vue bundle are as follows:
Weather Stations (required)
Choose a Vantage Vue model from the following options:
- Davis Vantage Vue Weather Station with WeatherLink Console (6242): Known for its exceptional accuracy, the Davis Vantage Vue provides reliable readings for temperature, humidity, wind speed, direction, barometric pressure, and more. Paired with the WeatherLink Console, enjoy intuitive data display, advanced data logging, and seamless connectivity to your smart devices.
- Davis Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite (6357):ย Sensor suite only.
If you would like the WeatherLink Console, select the package above that includes the console. Purchasing it separately below will cost more (we include it in the event you would like a second console). If you select theย Instrument Suite Only package above,ย you must choose a WeatherLink option from the next section, unless you already own a device. You only need one WeatherLink device to connect to the service.
WeatherLink
WeatherLink is the method by which Davis stations connect to the Internet. While the WeatherLink Console is our recommended method, older methods are still available.
- WeatherLink Console (6313):ย With up to 21 parameters available on the display at one time, dozens of alerts, and 100+ graphing options, the WeatherLink Console brings the Davis line into the 21st Century.
- Davis WeatherLink Live (6100): The predecessor to the WeatherLink Console, this is the only other option that is compatible with the modern cloud version of WeatherLink. For most installations, this is our only other recommended alternative to the console.
- Davis WeatherLink USB (6510USB):ย This version requires a computer to run continuously to log data in real-time. The WeatherLink USB Data Logger fits inside your classic Davis console, connecting to your computer via a USB cable. When the computer is off, the dongle can store data at predefined intervals, uploading it to the software when it reconnects.
- Davis WeatherLink Serial (6510SER):ย This version requires a computer to run continuously to log data in real-time. The same model as above, but intended for a free serial port.
Mounts
Need a mount? (The Climalytic Instrument Pole Mount is also compatible. See the add-ons section.)
- Davis Mounting Tripod (7716): This robust and straightforward-to-assemble tripod ensures secure mounting of your weather station, maintaining optimal sensor placement for accurate, uninterrupted data collection.
Expansion Options
Your Vantage Vue can measure more than just temperature, humidity, wind, and rain.
- Davis AirLink Air Quality Monitor (7210): The Davis AirLink Air Quality Monitor can be used both indoors andย outdoors, providing real-time air quality readings to your smartphone or the cloud. Notable is the AirLink’s capability to measure PM1, PM2.5, and PM10; most AQI monitors only measure the latter.

Reviews

I have been pleased with mine for 6 months use so far. Rain totals until the first 3-6 rain events have not matched a colocated tipping Guage. After submitting reports it has been within a few tenths difference at most. Usually in heavy rain. Last heavy rain 2 hrs was 1.15″ on tipping guage and 1.3″ on tempest. With each report it gets a little better.
Now I knew this going into it.
The ability to be a host and get a subscription (plus) to weatherflow apps like fishweather was a plus for me.
I find myself using it more than I originally thought, and have a battery backup for the hub so data not lost during power outage.

The mount works well. My mounting was on 2+” pipe and the ability to use 2 hose clamps to hold it secure was what I was looking for. For mounting on flat surfaces it has 4 holes for screws or bolts. I didn’t want a mount that required a u shaped shackles as most were.

I recently was reminded how much I depend on the Vantage Pro2 every day. I was changing batteries after fifteen months, and I inadvertently changed the ISS setting. So for a half-hour I was reading the manual (could be better!) and figuring out my problem. During that time I thought about how much I and several of my neighbors depend on the station here in the generally hot Phoenix region.
I’ve had the Davis for six years, with only one problem. The anemometer failed during warranty. That’s the only issue over six years and still going strong. I am using the original console that, while it shows its age, works fine for my purposes.
The station is accurate and reliable. Bottom line – I’d recommend it to a neighbor, friend, or family member.
