For situations where wireless connectivity isn’t possible, the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus Cabled Integrated Sensor Suite is undoubtedly the best cabled weather station on the market today. The sensor suite is functionally identical to the wireless Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus Integrated Sensor Suite, except there are no solar panels. Your Cabled Weather Envoy supplies power instead.

Connection to the WeatherLink software and the WeatherLink cloud service is still possible through the Weather Envoy, which receives data from the ISS via an included 100-foot cable.

Is fan aspiration available?

As part of a standard package, no. However, cabled Vantage Pro2s are compatible with the Daytime Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield Kit, which will provide fan aspiration during the daylight hours, when the effects of direct solar radiation on your sensors are the most significant.
