I am very happy to announce that Cirrusly Weather is now an authorized reseller of Climalytic Instruments! And it isn’t hyperbole to say that. It almost seems like we came full circle here.

Here’s a little background — and those of you who know me know I love to tell a good story (guess it’s my father in me).

In what seems like an eternity ago now (in 2023), Tye, T.J., and Dylan Parzybok emailed me at The Weather Station Experts about a “new” rain gauge they were developing. I thought it was crazy what they were claiming — a “revolutionary” rain gauge(?!). After all, the rain gauge has been a staple of the weather watcher’s arsenal for centuries.

The Stratus Rain Gauge — considered the best home rain gauge you can buy for a half century — was good enough, I thought. I was wrong. In every way, the TROPO Rain Gauge is top-tier, from the construction, the accuracy, to the bird spikes and a handle you never knew you needed.

And the gauge lasts – it’s a testament to Climalytic Instruments’ focus on quality. Even years later, the gauge remains clear, unlike many others I’ve had that have discolored in the sun.

And its accuracy claims are valid, not only verified by me but also by many others, including scientific studies.

Climalytic Instruments has come a long way since then. Their rain gauges are now sold worldwide — something that requires a significant amount of scale. And they’re expanding beyond just the TROPO, with the same meteorological precision that was previously only available to professionals.
